Effective emf when one battery of 12V and another battery of 7V is connected in parallel.(both are ideal cells).

Dear student,

The effective EMF would not be defined in such a case because due to absence of internal resistances, infinite amount of current would instantly flow from 12V to 7V battery.

Zero because both cell will short circuited,
