Hiii 
You need to assume the Part from 3R resistance as separate part , and first solve for this part.
Convert these into GP form first , assume r = 3 
nth term in GP is given by a*r^(n-1)
solve in the generaised form by considering r^(n-1)
First solve for series then parallel , it will form a GP . 
at last calculate from first R term.
