An ammeter of resistance 0.2ohm reading up to 10mA is to be used to read up to 1 volt potential difference. We have to connect:

99.8ohm reistance in series

99.8ohm resistance in parallel

0.1ohm resistance in series

0.1 ohm resistance in parallel

to use ammeter we have to connect resistance in series.

Let its value is x

then

(0.2 + x)*0.01 = 1

so

x = 99.8 ohm

so correct answer is

99.8ohm reistance in series
