An ammeter and a voltage are use to calculate the resistance of an electric device. The ammeter showed the current though the device to be 0,2a when a voltage of 32v was supplied across the device. Calculate the resistance

As we know, V=iR

Since ammeter shows current in the circuit is 0.2 A and voltage in circuit is 32 V.

i=0.2A , V=32v

R=V/i

=32/0.2

=160 ohm

Hence,total Resistance in the ciruit is 160 ohm.
