a uniform wire of 16ohm resistance is made into the form of square . two oppposite corners of square are connected by a wire of resistance 16ohm . the effective resistance between the other two opposite corners will be?

square provides two 8ohm in parallel (end points are diagonal for the square made from 16 ohm) and this is in parallel with 16 ohm.
So, 8 ohm, 16 ohm and 8ohm are in parallel.
R = 3.2 ohm
