Grade 11Electric Current

There is a doubt regarding area of cross section... We know resistance z inversely proportional to area of cross section. But my ques z in greater area of cross sec. there are more no. of electrons comparetively so more collisons occur & less electric current flows & resistance should be high . Then how greater area of cross sec. can offer LOW resistance????

actually current is the rate of flow of charges i.e. rate of flow of electrons. Everything ends here. Larger the area , large number of electrons hence large is the rate of their flow!!!!!!!!!
