a uniform ring has a radius R with centre C. A nd B are 2 pts on the circumference.such that angle theta is 600.find the equivalent resistance between pt A and B?

Req=(r1)||(r2)
r1=(rho)*R(pi/3)/A
r2=5(r1)

let he resistance of whole ring i.e. 2ΠR be r.
therefore the resistance of wire between points a and b is r/6
and the reistance of rest part of ring is 5r/6
now these two resistances are in parallel combination
therefore equivalent resistance will be 5r/36....
