Charge is a form of energy.. A unique form which has some special character that is exhibited as the fundamental property of atoms.. The existance of matter is due to the charges that resides within the atoms.. Electric charge is a nomenculature(pointing the other way) for electrons(-ve).

But remember V/I gives the resistance for every material in the world.. but the nature of variation gives thr law.. For direct variation it is Ohms Law..for semiconductors it is Childs Law...
