how, in general, we can find input or output impedance of any electric/electronic circuit? I have studied a lot of derivations, but just want to know the easiest method and step by step approach

Dear Rahul,

In order to find the equivalent impedence,

1 Short the voltage source .

2 Open circuit the curent source 

3 Replace capacitor by 1/Cwj and inductor by Lwj,

Thus find the equivalent impedence.
