Dear Charitha,

For a Parallel plate capacitor,

A= Area

d=Thickness (d)

also Q= C. V

Best Of luck

if dielectric of thickness 't' is introduced, the configuration is equivalent to two capacitors in series: one capacitor has capacitance C1=(ε0a)/(d-t) and C2=(ε0ka)/t, where k is the dielectric constant. The equivalent capacitance of the combination is (C1*C2)/(C1 +C2)
