can you pleaseee elaborate on potential difference....finding it very tough to understand....pleasee help me with an example

potential difference is the work that is done to move 1 unit charge from point A to point B. as we know tht ther is some force required to move anything from one place to another similarly p.d. is the cause for the flow of electricity. it is directly proportional to current . tht is when the force (p.d.) increases the movement also increases ( current-movement of electrons).

this can b compared to the potential energy of the water at a high which causes it to flow towards the ground. in case of electricity this p.d. causes the current flow
