I want to know about the use of mirror and symmetry in solving problems of resistances and capacitors. I have heard this make the things very easy to solve problems of resistances and capacitors. Please do tell me something in detail.

The equivalent resistance between any two terminals of a regular hexahedron is calculated on the basis of symmetry analysis instead of analysing the circuit with current flow in every wire.
