Not really, the umbrella contains very little metal. And the handle that you hold the umbrella is usually plastic.
But you should not be out in a thunderstorm anyways. It is better to be inside a car, or best to be inside a building; as they direct lightning strikes to the ground.
But if your umbrella is made with 0% metal, then you are safe to use an umbrella, the only concern is lightning striking you rather than the umbrella.
