then class 4 engineer

Trainee Engineer +
3 months preparatory
courses (opt.)
+ passing in Class IV part B exam
second engineer
* Salary Rs.2,00,000/-pm) 12 months sea service as a
Class IV Engineer +
4 months preparatory
courses + passing in
Class II
chief engineer
Chief Engineer(*Salary Rs.3,00,000/-p.m. & above) 18 months sea service as a Second Engineer with Class II certificate +2 months’ course + passing in Class I exam.
there is a good scope salary is at par as you an see above but there is a disadvantage that you have to be in ship for long time away from family.ch in marine engg.better do from iit
