I got 196 marks in JEE Mains , 93.4 % in boards . I expected at least 180 in Advanced but my paper was ruined and I don’t think I will be able to clear the cutoff for JEE Advanced . I am kind of depressed because IIT is my dream . Can I make it to a good college or should I drop and start preparing again for JEE ?

Hi Shubham,
there is no need to get depressed. I feel you have a great potential to perform. If you drop for a year, you have great chances of getting into one of the IITs. Also If you want, you can join a nice college and side by side prepare for JEE for the next year. A lot of people do that.
