how imporatarnt is infrastructure and various techno fest compared to education in the four years of college.(confused whether to go for a compromised branch in old iits or CSE in new IITs)(AIR-2124)Do the new iits have technofests and competitions too?if they are not importantshud i go for cs at new iits?

You should go for CSE in old IITs, CSE is still better than copromised branches at newer IITs, the technofests and comepitions are just for fun , hardly anyone participate in these frome IIT.\
