Mechanical is core branch and Industrial is a part of mechanical branch. If you are planning for higher studies after B.tech then you can choose any because in both cases at the end branch will be mechanical only if you are appearing for GATE examination.
Otherwise for job aspects i will suggest you Mechanical from IIT Dhanbad
