A motorcycle crosses the point A with 10 m/s and uniformly increases the speed to 30 m/s till it reaches point C. Points A B and C are equally spaced. Where would the motorcycle have a speed of 20 m/s? A) At B B) b/w A & B C) b/w B & C D) depends on the value of acceleration

Dear student

v*v = u*u + 2as

900 = 100 + 2 ( a ) ( 2x)

200/x. = a

Now, similarly 300 = 2 ( 200/x) s

s = 3x/4

Therefore option B

  • v2=u2+2aS
  • 900=100+2(a)(2d)
  • 200/x=a
  • Now,
  • For  v=20m/s,u=10m/s
  • 400-100=2(200/d)S
  • S=3d/4
  • Which is between A to B point
  • HENCE,OPTION (B) IS CORRECT
