A bird moves with velocity 10m/s In the direction making an angle 60° with the eastern line and 60° with vertical upwards .Represent the velocity in rectangular form

Bird path makes an angle of 60  degree with the eastern line , then it will make 30 degree with the vertical component. 
v = vx i + vy j 
Vx = V cos 60 = 5 m/sec 
Vy = Vsin60 = 5sqrt(3) m/sec
