My son had apperied for JEE 10,his expectation is just for 140 marks . It is not possible for him to get in IIT.I want to put him as a repeater for JEE 11. Now my Auestion is that if he gets 70 % marks in board exam and if HRD minister change the eligibilty critaria from 60 % to praposed 80% then what will be his position in JEE11 ? Is it advisable ?

Hello Mr. Bipinchandra

With 140 marks, your son's rank may not allow him to get into IITs.

Regarding HRD ministry decision, even if eligibility criteria is changed to 80%, students passing in last year are normally  exempted from the changed criteria as we have seen in previous years.

So, You can go ahead with your decision.
