IPU is pretty reputed university and you can opt for IT being a good branch.
MTech IT Dual degree would be a benefit as companies are nowadays eager on hiring pupils from computer, software and networking branches as compared to core branches. They have their reasons. But a dual degree IT from IPU reputed college would definitely be a good option.
