can i clear by just studying ncert as in 2009 55% students have done it in 2009

you have not miantion the name of exam. If you are talking about IIT JEE.
then I would like to inform you that NCERT books are not sufficient to crack IIT JEE wit good rank.
those 55% were not only refering NCERT books . you refer NCERT books but along this you must refer other books also.other wise you will miss some important concept taht is really helpful in cracking exam like IIT JEE and AIEEE.
