I would like to know whether arithmetico-geomeric progression is in the present syllabus for IIT-JEE.It is there for AIEEE but i am not sure about IIT-JEE.

dear rao, Yes that is given in IITJEE syllabus. Algebra(progressions): Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means, sums of finite arithmetic and geometric progressions, infinite geometric series, sums of squares and cubes of the first n natural numbers. Logarithms and their properties.
