I would like to know that ,is dhanbad a safe city as my parents are not allowing me to take up any course at dhanbad......seeing the last naxalite attack and dhanbad is being affected ny naxalites

being a pass out  from ism dhanbad, i would say that ism campus in dhanbad city is one of the safest places you can live in. with the level of security the campus provides, you dont need worry about the naxalite attacks. moreover, in my four year stay in dhanbad, i never heard of any such attacks in the city or nearby. so, let your parents talk to any pass out or current student of ism and let them clear all their doubts. (if possible, they can ask me in person and i can address all their doubts)

finally, i would say, dont miss out ism dhanbad just because you fear about the city dhanbad. there is really nothing to fear of about the city.
