Why is Zinc not extracted from ZInc oxide throgh reduction with CO??

Reducing agent should have more negative ΔG value. In case of zinc oxide ,Zn has more negative ΔG value then CO , so it can not be reduced by CO.

Reducing agent should have more negative ΔG value. In case of zinc oxide ,Zn has more negative ΔG value then CO as you can see from elingum diagram, so it can not be reduced by CO.
