chemical is slightly better than production engineering but in terms of placements both are same...average pakage of chemical this year was 6 lakh (gail took 8 people at 10.2 lakhs) whereas production was 4.5 lakhs.placements are good if you eliminate the lower ranked sc ,st and dasa students....
