Dear Akshat,

Dropping a year for JEE is a very big Decision,

My advise is that you must take admission in the college you are getting admission and drop only if you are 100% sure that you can secure a good rank atleast in AIEEE.

Cracking IIT just got more exciting,It s not just all about getting assistance from IITians, alongside Target Achievement and Rewards play an important role. ASKIITIANS has it all for you, wherein you get assistance only from IITians for your preparation and win by answering queries in the discussion forums. Reward points 5 + 15 for all those who upload their pic and download the ASKIITIANS Toolbar, just a simple  to download the toolbar….

there will be no AIEEE from next year sir as only one test will be conducted from 2013  in which weightage will be given to the board marks.Keeping that in mind, would it be advisable to take a year off?I am a little worried right now since I have only managed to score 89%.Will it be a major deciding factor in 2013?
