you should have a syncronised study pattern

you have to complete ncert book 1st

ncert books doesnt contain much mistakes & you can have full faith & belief on them

i would never suggest you to start with any refresher / any other competitive book

after ncert you hve to enhance your knowledge width

for this you can refer a refresher like

hc verma, op tandon , rd sharma, arihant(phy&maths)

if you complete above you can crack iit

for coaching you should have those places whose faculties are helpful & close to the students

they should also teach in a good level of iit
