I want to drop this year for IIT-JEE preparations. Im sure that I will succeed in the second attempt but I don't know how to persuade my parents on this! Please give me some tips so I can satisfy them that wasting a year is not gonna be bad but fruitful later on!

you have to tell your parents strongly that you are born for iit

nothing can let you leave the iit seat if you try next year

tell them your marks obtained this year & compare your study criteria to make them believe that you can prepare the best for the next year

all the best

You have to win your parents trust first....

excel in your current studies, and show them what you are capable of..?

Tell them to trust you in your abilities. And that IIT is no big deal..!!
