i am a mths + bio studenti got 120 marks in iit 2012 the 1st attempti was thinking to take drop because i was unable to practice for this time50% topics were unknown for me in the exami know that i just have to practice & .....should i take a drop?pleasr reply!

drop a year should not gurantee u that u will get into iit in my experiance i saw many students that took a coaching one year bt nt able to crack iit and get into state level college

 so it basically depends only on u that how u manage urself if u have confidence to crack iit u must go fr coaching  bt make sure that from next year th pattern is changing and weightage of 40% to booard exam is given so before taking decision make sure about this point

do not think about it now. first go for aieee and other remaining try to get best out of them.

during various counselling we get the right ideas of our stand and then decide about drop.

also, iitjee pattern is changing most probably in 2013 and will have good weightage of cbse 12 marks.

so also check for your marks this time.

Do not think of all the people who scare you and make you not go for a second attempt at IIT-JEE.

I say, I am impressed that you got 120 marks without covering 50% of the portions in IIT-JEE and I am confident that you can go a long way and score brilliantly and get into one of the prestigious IITs in India if you take JEE head-on once more.

Be confident in yourself and always feel the same way. If not you then who is gonna grab that one seat that is waiting for you.

You want just 1 seat in an IIT and thats it  . I know that you can do it so believe in yourself and never let the fire in you to get into an IIT and live happier die inside you. 

Always keep yourself motivated and upbeat & keep that fire to succeed burning in you strong & deep.
