An IITian has a kind of supreme respect in society, & in every field of world. IIT is considered amongst most tuffer exams of worls, so an IITian is easily preferred for jobs by good companies..

First of all , IIT are institutes of national importance which means they are national level colleges. the entrance (JEE) is a national level exam and they dont have reserved seats for any particular state. second they are oldest institutes of the country. being an IITian has become a brand. IITians are well known throughout the world.
