sir, i have been alloted mining eng. b.tech. at ISM dhanbad through IIT-jee..should i go for it?? i also have option of cs,ece or any branch in hbti kanpur as my rank is under 450 in upseee. would mining eng. would be hindrance if i started preparing for other exams like IAS later in my life??

No Mining Engg would not be a hindrance for your IAS Preparations !

I suggest you to go for ISM-Mining Engg !!

This is a special field which has wonderful infrastructures here ...
