new iit's were still not given rankings.further it will take them 1 year.whether they will stand in the top list before top nit's and after the older iit's in the all india engineering college rankings.i want to join in new iit this year whether it would be good decision than to join in top nit.please give reply to both of my questions

Dear sangula durgaprasad,

It is generally seen this way around

Old IIT's > IIT-Ropar/Gandhinagar > Top 3 NIT's(NIT-Trichy/Surathkal/Warangal) >> Other New IIT's

 If you have a choice to go for IIT-Ropar (or) IIT-Gandhinagar then please go for the same but if you don't get any of these two then prefer the Top 3 NIT's !!!
