i am alloted economics in kanpur in 1st roundif i am alloted a diff branch in 2nd roundi am able to go in economics or not...if not can i lock it as my final branch

You have to Surrender your Economics Seat @ IIT-kanpur to be eligible for the Second round of Counselling !!

So if you want to go with Economics @ IIT-Kanpur then you have to seal it by confirming your seat by checking yourself personally at your nearest centre !!
