Dear Friends,I would like to seek clarifications on the following matters:1) How 13,000+ eligible students are accommodated in 9,000+ available seats in IIT?Whether the top 9,000+ candidates opting for IIT alone would be accommodated?2) Generally, how many of the 'eligible' candidates opt out of IIT?3) Whether many candidates could be awarded the same rank under AIEEE?For example, my daughter has secured 378th Overall Rank under Home State Category; whether many others too would have been awarded the same rank?Clarifications to the above would help us assess my daughter's prospects at getting into NIT.Thanks & regards,SURESH
