sir my name is manikantaiam now studying second year and i have more 10 months for iit exam..... am weak in basics, if i start my preparations from now with basics... is there a chance of getting into iit???if yes how many hours of study is required a day nd what kind of prep is required.... am getting afraid sir :(plzzzz...... help me sir !!!!!!!!!!!

yes of course you can get through the exam but basics are very important so start studying them from now.

10 months are enough .

i suggest you dont panick and take test series of any standard coaching 

and there is no specific hours of study it is different for everyone but i think 8 t0 9 hours are enough.
