sir i expect 500-1000 rank in iit-jee 2011, but please tell me all the other options expect engineering. i am very much interested in physics

Well if you don't want to go for engineering then you can surely go into research field as you could opt for BSc(Physics) and can further go for MSc or MTech from IIT and then can go for Phd later.
