First of all, the number of questions, topic wise distribution of questions, and

marking schemes of IIT JEE

differ every year. So be ready for any kind of surprise in IIT JEE 2012.

Irrespective of this, you can focus on some topics in all the subjects. For instance, time-speed and distance, function, complex numbers in Maths; potential, electromagnetism, SHM, problems on pulley in Physics; complete organic with structures/ preparation/ name reactions in Chemistry.

As far as

Scoring in IIT JEE

is concerned, there is nothing easy to score. It all depends on your level of preparation and the IIT JEE paper that particular year. But what you can ensure is a complete clarity of concepts in most of the topics in all the three subjects. And the rest should be fine.
