use the formulas

g ( at a height h) = g (on surface ) * [ 1 - (2h/Re) ]

g ( at a depth d ) = g (on surface) * [ 1 - (d/Re) ]

(i) using this for the 1st part g(at height h) = 9.702

(ii) g (at surface) = 9.8

(iii) g (depth of 100m) = 9.79

(iv) g (depth of 50m) =  9.8

therefore the body will weigh minimum at a height of 100 m  above the earth's surface !

answer is (A) .

Force of gravity is maximum at the earth's surface and decreases as you go away from the earth's surface.(It is zero at the earth's surface)

Also,

W=mg

therefore, when g will be minimum, weight will be minimum, since mass is constant.

The body weight will be minimum at a height 100m above the earth's surface and 100m below the earth's surface.
