Memory is a term widely used in computer applications. Some of its units are bits and bytes. Since these units are not dependent on any other 7 fundamental quantities that we know so far, should'nt it be included as another fundamental quantity in S.I. system? Some people might say that it has got no physical significance, but i don't think that it is true.

Well, first of all I dont think memory has any physical importance.

Secondly, as we know that each bytes consists of bits and each bit correspands to a binary number.

Binary numbers are also known as on/off, high voltage/low voltage etc.

Which means, binary numbers are depended on the physical quantity, current, hence they are not counted as a fundamental quantity as they act as derieved quantity.
