Getting into NIT at this rank is too difficult a job. So, wat u need is to see ur other options too. You just cannot rely on luck that if some seat is vacant theb u'll get it,
Its too difficult fr a seat to remain vacant till that rank. Een if u donot get a seat after 4 counselling, then also do keep a regular update from the news paper as there are still some seat sleft vacant in the colleges and they give info about it in the newspprs. So, if ur luck favors then u mite get admission then.
