i want to do biotechnology in iit and become a scientist,to invent medicine for handicap,various diseases.But my relatives saying that if i choose that field i will not get any jobs and my life will be spoiled.Please help me.

Biotechnology is a research oriented field. and it is true that there is no quality research opportunities available in this field in INDIA. So you will have to foreign universities for higher studies and research after degree from IIT. so its not a job oriented field. but outside INDIA you have very good opprtunities
