mny ppl keep saying dat it doesnt depends on which college you are doing engineering,,,,, inspite of that,,der r huge number of IIT applicants... paying heavy fees to der coaching classes..study materials..and lots of other stuff.....even though there's no need to do dat... whts the big speciality in these IITs???

See your statements are true but there is a hidden word of "Conditions Apply".IITs are no doubt best in INDIA in infrastructure and facilities. you enter IITs after passing a tough competition. and if you are passing a tough competition you are surely ahead of others and it gives you a confidence. but its not the end of the story here. life is a race and you have to run always you cant stop. this is the case if you are in IIT but not doing hard work and not paying attention then a guy from normal engineering college may leave you behind because of his hard work and dedication. so talent and good college can give you some initial push only it is your hard work and eagerness to learn which will take you to the path of success.
It is applicable to Any College , Any Branch student. you have to run to succeed.
I think it is now clear to you.
