IISc is starting 4 year UG programs from 2011 in all branches of science ( Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Materials Science and Environmental Science).
I am interested in studying science. So which one would you recommend me?
Dear Neelabh,
Its completly depend on ur discretion which subjects attracts u more i.e. always give priority to ur interest as u have to study it for 4 years. I think Maths is the most diff. among the above mentioned branch's. Phy, Chem n Bio are research oriented branch , u wil have to pursue Mtech after UG for a better career in this field. Metarial Science has limited scope in steel industries, no idea about environ. science. If I was in ur situation then would have choosen maths as i find it more interesting than other branch. So, please talk to diff. people before taking such an imp. decision.
