Dear Ajay,

U can appear in regional engg. exams like PET also VIT (vellore) engg exam is another option. I just came to know from this forum itself that IISc is starting 4 year UG programs from 2011 in all branches of science ( Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Materials Science and Environmental Science), it looks like a gud option as IISc is one of the finest insti of india.
