Electronics is a core branch.. So always in demand irrespective of what happens to the market.. SO a good choice on that aspect..
But your rank doesn't seems to allow you to get en electronics and communications at a very good college i guess..
You may get it yet but i would suggest not to. Always go for College first and branch later(Generally)..
