my name is hemanth.my eml rank is 18091.can i get admission into rgipt.also suggest me whether dr.mgr educational and research institute,chennai is a good college for biotechnology or not?is nit raipur a better option for biomedical engineering than dr.mgreducational and research institute?

i think u may hav a little chance of getting into rgipt n it totally depends on ur luck as hw many people wid rank higher dan u don't apply der n seats remain vacant untill ur rank....

for biomedical engg.. i wud suggest u to join nit raipur as studying at nit is always better dan any other coll as nits r well recognised everywhere n also der placements r better ...Also i wnna add one thing dat nit comes exactly after iits in terms of excellence so if u hav options availabe den u must go for nit..

Regarding ur query whether dr.mgr a gud institute or not den in dis case i will say u dat it is a gud coll but u can't compare it wid any nits...so u needn't think much abt ur 2nd option as it doesn't match d standrds wid ur 1st option..
