Dear Pankaj,

Eligibility Criteria for IIT JEE 2010

There is no problem if you repeated the 12th . The criteria is that candidate should have passed 12th or equivalent with aggregate 60% marks, eligibile for IIT JEE 2010. 5% relaxation  for SC/ST candidates in aggregate in 12th or equivalent exam. The students who are appearing for 12th board exam can appear in IIT JEE 2010.

Two consecutive attempts are allowed for IITs.

Age Limit: For General category the candidates should not be more than 25 years as on 1st october 2009, For SC/ST candidates the age limit is 30 years.

Pattern for examination: The pattern of IIT JEE 2010 will be same as last year pattern of  IIT JEE 2009. There is two papers for total duration of three hours. Paper1 and Paper2. There is three section in each paper,
