What is the difference between IT and CSE?

CS is about hardware as well software . Adequate emphasis is also given to Programming, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Formal Languages and Automata Theory, and Theoretical Computer Science. And IT is more about software. It is responsible for storing information, protecting information, processing the information, transmitting the information as necessary, and later retrieving information as necessary.
