I am currently doing B.Tech in mechatronics engineering in SRM University, chennai. I am planning to do m. tech in an iit. I want to know if there is an added advantage after doing masters in the job market. I s the placements better for masters than simple b tech?

Having a Post Graduate degree always gives you an edge in the long run.Yes MTech from IIT carries a lot of value.

Placement package is always higher for Post Graduates in most of the cases.
